Health Tip: If You Can't Sleep

(HealthDay News) — If you’re not getting enough sleep or your sleep is poor, it’s important to figure out what’s causing the problem.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests keeping a sleep diary, and to include:

  • When you go to bed and what time you actually fall asleep.
  • What time you wake up.
  • What time you get out of bed.
  • When you take naps, and how long they last.
  • When you exercise.
  • When you drink alcohol or caffeinated beverages.
