(HealthDay News) — As you near the end of your pregnancy, the aches, pains and general discomforts may worsen.
The American Academy of Family Physicians offers this advice to help lessen the burden:
- To ease constipation, talk to your doctor about taking a stool softener.
- For carpal tunnel syndrome, wear wrist splints to bed.
- For hip, back or pelvic pain, sleep with a pillow behind your back.
- Call your doctor if you have unusual vaginal discharge or bleeding, unusual swelling or decreased fetal movement.
