(HealthDay News) — Putting a healthy dinner on the table for your family each night can be a daunting task.
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics mentions these suggestions to help you plan ahead:
- Create a menu for a whole week’s worth of dinners at once.
- Stock up on items that are quick and easy to fix, such as rice, pasta, beans and canned or frozen veggies.
- Cook extra servings of beef or chicken, to freeze and use later.
- Ask every member of the family to help prepare a meal in some way.
