The American Academy of Family Physicians says malnutrition in seniors can lead to a range of additional health problems:
- Unintended weight loss.
- Fatigue.
- Muscle weakening and lack of strength.
- Feeling depressed.
- Memory loss.
- Compromised immunity from infection.
- Anemia.
