(HealthDay News) — Babies and toddlers are prone to tantrums, particularly during the second year of life when they don’t fully know how to express their emotions and needs.
The Nemours Foundation suggests these additional triggers for temper tantrums:
- Fatigue or discomfort.
- Wanting attention.
- Feeling frustrated.
- Trying to establish control and independence.
- Understanding that they can’t have something or perform a desired action.
