(HealthDay News) — Cell phones are essential tools, but evidence suggests they can expose callers to radiation.
The Environmental Working Group offers these cell phone safety tips:
- Use your speaker or a headset instead of holding the phone against your ear.
- Text more instead of talking.
- Talk only when the signal strength is high, as a weaker signal may mean higher exposure to radiation.
- Don’t store your phone near your head (such as under your pillow).
