Chronic Pain

This study will evaluate the success of converting opioid-experienced, chronic pain patients to a stable dose of Embeda within six weeks. Candidates must be 21 or older, have had least three months of moderate-to-severe pain, and be taking a stable dose of an opioid drug.

High Cholesterol

This study will evaluate omega-3 acids for high-triglyceride treatment, in combination with diet and exercise. Candidates must have a history of high triglycerides of 500 to 1500, and may be taking medication to lower cholesterol or triglycerides.

Gout

This phase 3b study will evaluate the cardiovascular safety of febuxostat and allopurinol in people with gout and cardiovascular problems. Candidates must have one or more of the American Rheumatism Association criteria for the diagnosis of gout.
