(HealthDay News) — Contact lenses may raise your risk of developing serious eye conditions, such as infections or corneal ulcers.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says it’s important to remove your contacts and to visit your doctor if you show signs of eye irritation, including:
- Pain or discomfort.
- Excess tearing or eye discharge.
- Unusual sensitivity to light.
- Itching or burning.
- Unusual redness.
- Blurred vision.
- Swelling.
