(HealthDay News) — Your vision may weaken as you get older, but the Cleveland Clinic says there are things you can do to maintain the health of your eyes:
- Schedule regular visits with your doctor to screen for conditions that can affect your vision, such as diabetes.
- Visit your ophthalmologist once every year. The exam should include pupil dilation if your family has a history of diabetes or eye disease.
- Have regular glaucoma screenings.
- See an eye doctor right away if you have any trouble with your eyes or vision.
