The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons mentions these potential symptoms:

  • Swelling.
  • Pain, especially when the wrist is moved.
  • Soreness and tenderness.
  • Bruising.
  • A feeling of warmth at the injury site.
  • A tearing or popping sensation when you move the wrist.
