(HealthDay News) — It’s easy to sprain your wrist during a fall or while playing a sport.
The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons says typical warning signs of a sprained wrist include:
- Swelling.
- Pain or tenderness, particularly when you move the wrist.
- Discoloration or a bruise on the wrist.
- A sensation of tearing or popping.
- Feeling heat in the wrist.
