(HealthDay News) — Ordering pizza doesn’t have to derail your diet plan to lose weight. You can make easy ingredient substitutions to cut the fat without losing flavor.
The Womenshealth.gov website suggests:
- Skip meat toppings and get veggies instead, notably mushrooms or peppers.
- Order your pizza with a whole wheat crust.
- Ask for half the regular amount of cheese.
- Substitute a slice of pizza for a salad topped with low-fat dressing.
