(HealthDay News) — If your blood doesn’t have enough healthy oxygen-carrying red blood cells, it may be because you aren’t getting enough iron in your diet.
The U.S. National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute says common symptoms of iron-deficiency anemia include:
- Tiredness.
- Shortness of breath.
- Headaches or dizziness.
- Cold hands and feet.
- Unusually pale skin.
- Chest pain.
